What do you get when you combine twenty years of not throwing away nearly enough paper and mementos, creating your first home office and a Mastermind breakout session on Workspace Overwhelm? A blog post topic, silly.

We recently cleared out a bedroom used for storage and converted it into a home office, affectionately known as “the Dodger Room”. In the process, I had to process years of accumulated clutter.

During the Workspace Overwhelm session, Deanne Marie pointed out that clutter is caused by unmade decisions. She also pointed out that there are two kinds of people, pilers and filers.

That reminded me of a speech I gave a few  years ago, called “Piler’s Anonymous”, where I confess to being both a piler and a procrastinator.

Remember, you are not alone!
