One of my “faults” is I tend not to celebrate my successes. From the time I was a child, I was expected to do well. Into adulthood, I continued that habit. I would beat myself up when I failed but when I succeeded, I acted as if nothing special happened.
As part of the new and improved Walt 2.0, let me correct that behavior by sharing my Top Ten Accomplishments of 2013:
- In January, I began hosting a weekly radio show
- I was the featured guest on four different radio shows
- I published a book, Stand Up and Speak Up
- I began a weekly blog / stopped for a few months / resumed weekly posting
- I wrote 4 magazine articles that were published in over a dozen magazines
- I wrote for and performed in a sketch comedy show in Long Beach.
- I performed in two improv shows in Long Beach
- I passed an audition and began taking classes with the famous Groundlings school in Hollywood
- I continued 3 times a week workouts with a personal trainer
- I met and have an amazing relationship with the amazing Sydney Hardy
2013 was very, very good to me. And I look forward to 2014.
I love this post
