Home sweet home. The drive back to Lakewood, CA from Las Vegas was a grind … but it did NOTHING to kill the positive feelings I have from the Lady & the Champs Speakers’ Conference. Patricia Fripp, Darren LaCroix, Craig Valentine and Ed Tate, along with their guest speakers put on another amazing conference.
Since 2008, I have attended 6 of the 7 Lady & the Champs and each year I continue to learn new things. And those of you familiar with my story know that my first Lady & the Champs was a pivotal moment in my re-invention.
I re-connected with many friends from the previous Lady & the Champs and made new friends … friends who share a common interest in speaking. Many friends from Craig Duswalt’s RockStar community were also there.
I believe this two-day event is the best “pound-for-pound” training for anyone wanting to grow in speech writing, speech delivery and the business of speaking. Due to the late arrival and my self-imposed blog deadline of 4am Monday, I will end this post and share some of my learning in part two of this blog, which will post next week. Stay tuned!
